Spanish reflects Argentine (Rioplatense) usage where it differs from European Spanish; Italian is standard. Legal concepts do not always map one-to-one between common-law and civil-law systems, so several entries give the closest functional equivalent rather than a literal translation.

This dictionary is a terminology aid for general orientation only. It is not legal advice and does not substitute for a certified or sworn translation. For documents requiring legal validity, a certified translation is recommended.
