Banking, Insurance & Finance — EN · ES · IT.
20 terms from Banking, Insurance & Finance, each with its Spanish and Italian equivalent and a plain-language definition. Open any term for its own page.
Financial documents travel constantly between the three languages — bank statements for visa applications, insurance policies for claims, loan agreements for cross-border deals. The vocabulary is standardised by international practice more than most areas of law, but instruments such as the Spanish pagaré, the Italian cambiale or the Latin American fideicomiso still have no exact English form, and numbers, decimal separators and account identifiers (IBAN, CLABE, CBU) must be reproduced exactly. Certified translations in this area are judged on precision above all.
