Service areas

Service areas — built for cross-continental practice.

Four geographic markets, three languages, one quiet partner. Carol supports law firms in the United States, Italy, Spain, and South America with a calendar and a contracting setup designed for work that moves across borders.

Where the work happens.

Most engagements span at least two of these markets — a U.S. firm with Spanish-speaking clients, an Italian studio with a U.S. counterparty, a despacho in Madrid coordinating a closing in Miami. The grid below outlines what each region typically needs and how Carol is set up to deliver it.

Four markets, one trilingual partner.

United States

U.S. law firms

W-9 ready, Form 1099 accepted, paid directly to a U.S. bank account. Business hours overlap aligned to Eastern Time, with familiarity across USCIS practice and the immigration and family law work that brings Spanish-speaking clients to U.S. firms. Carol is comfortable on the U.S. contracting side of any engagement.

Useful for studi legali coordinating with U.S. or Latin American counterparts on contracts, succession matters, or international family law. The Italian-language site is at /it/service-areas.html.

España

Despachos in Spain

Sudamérica

South America

Native Latin American Spanish fluency with working familiarity across Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and the Portuguese-influenced Spanish of Brazil-adjacent practice. Carol is a natural fit for firms whose clients have emigrated to the U.S. or Europe — handling vital records translation, beneficiary correspondence, and bilingual coordination with overseas counsel.

A few practical things firms ask about.

Carol is U.S.-based for contracting purposes — W-9 on request, Form 1099 accepted, U.S. bank account for direct deposit. Standing business hours overlap with U.S. Eastern Time and stretch comfortably into European working hours; South American hours are her native window. Engagements are typically billed on retainer or by the matter, with a short trial assignment available for new firms.
