Tutoring concentrates in four areas, mixed in the proportions a given student needs:
- Legal Spanish. Reading contracts and pleadings in Spanish, understanding civil-law terminology, recognizing false friends between U.S. common-law and Latin American civil-law vocabulary, conducting client interviews in Spanish.
- Business negotiation. The vocabulary, registers, and pragmatics of a Spanish-language negotiation — how to push back, how to qualify a position, how to interpret indirect refusals, how to read the room.
- Presentation skills. Delivering a slide deck, a board update, or a client pitch in Spanish — clear, controlled, and natural enough that the audience listens to the message rather than the accent.
- Written correspondence. Email, formal letters, memos, and short reports — the registers your Spanish-speaking counterparts will read, and the tone they expect from a U.S. or European partner.
Sprints or ongoing engagement.
Students typically choose between a defined sprint and an ongoing arrangement:
- 4-week sprint. Two sessions per week, eight sessions total. Tightly focused on a single upcoming need — a closing meeting, a deposition, a board presentation, a court appearance.
- 8-week sprint. One or two sessions per week, used to make a measurable jump in fluency before a longer project — a six-month engagement in Mexico, a relocation to Spain, taking on a Spanish-speaking client list.
- Ongoing. A weekly session held indefinitely, used to maintain and sharpen working fluency. Best for professionals who already operate in Spanish day to day and want to keep their edge.
Each engagement begins with a short needs assessment, followed by a written learning plan that is revisited every four to six weeks. Materials — articles, contracts, recordings — are drawn from your industry, not from a generic textbook.

Sessions run sixty minutes by default; ninety-minute sessions are available for students who prefer a deeper weekly block. Pricing is quoted per engagement after the discovery call, with discounts on prepaid blocks. There are no long-term contracts and no auto-renewing subscriptions — engagements end cleanly at the agreed point.
